Very interesting information about the history of the United States. We enjoyed the Washburn, North Dakota area.

Stopped by while driving through the area. There are restrooms and a small picnic area right by the parking lot. This is an old trading post from the 1830s. The two trading posts and the earthlodges are gone. There are only interpretive signs around the grounds the explain the history of the site. At the end of the trail is a small hut made from rocks that I thought was cool to see.
