carrizozo heritage museum

This free local museum is operated by the chamber of commerce and is housed in a 1940s building. There are a number of rooms full of local history with artifacts, pictures and written information. The city has done a very good job developing this worthwhile museum. You should visit if in the area to learn about Carrizozo. It is a short distance from the Visirors Center.
